उपरोक्त तीनो पदार्थ `H_(2)O_(2)` के विघटन की क्रिया में ऋणात्मक उत्प्रेरक का कार्य करते है, अतः इनकी उपस्थिति में `H_(2)O_(2)` का विघटन रुक जाता है।
