जल (क्वथनांक `100^@C`) तथा ऐसीटोन (क्वथनांक `56^@C`) दोनों परस्पर मिश्रणीय द्रव हैं अत: मिश्रण का क्वथनांक `56^@C` से अधिक किन्तु `100^@C` से कम होगा।
