सरल लोलक का आवर्तकाल `T=2 pi sqrt((l)/(g))`
l के दिए गए मान के लिए `Tprop (1)/(sqrt(g))`
यदि चन्द्रम तथा पृथ्वी के पृष्ठ पर गुरुत्वीय त्वरण `g_(m)` तथा `g_(e)` हो तथा संगत आवर्तकाल क्रमशः `T_(m)` व `T_(e)` हो, तो
`(T_(m))/(T_(e))sqrt((g_(e))/(g_(m))` इससे `T_(m)=sqrt((g_(e))/(g_(m)))T_(e)`
यहाँ `g_(m) =1.7"मी"-"से"^(2) ,g_(e)=9.8"मी"-"से"^(2) ,T_(e)=3.5` सेकण्ड ।
`:.T_(m)sqrt((9.8)/(1.7))xx3.5=8.4`सेकण्ड |
