दोनों में अणुओं की संख्या बराबर होगी। अणुगति सिद्धांत से
` PV=1/3m_(1)n_(1)bar(v_(1)^(2))=1/2m_(2)n_(2)bar(v_(2)^(2))`
चूंकि दोनों एक ही ताप पर हैं अतः अणुओं की माध्य गतिज ऊर्जाएं बराबर होगी `1/2m_(2)bar(v_(1)^(2))=1/2m_(2)bar(v_(2)^(2))`
`:.n_(1)=n_(2)`
अतरू: अणुओं की संख्याओं का अनुपात `1:1` होगा।
