सरल आवर्त गति करते हुए कण का आयाम A, अधिकतम वेग `v_(0)` तथा अदिक्तम त्वरण `a_(0)` है । समय स्थिति से -
(B ) किस विस्थापन पर कण का वेग है ?

सरल आवर्त गति में ,
कण का वेग `upsilon = omega sqrt(A^(2)-y^(2))` तथा ` upsilon _(0) = upsilon _("max") = A omega`
कण का त्वरण `a= omega^(2)y` (आंकिक मान )
तथा ` a_(0) = a_("max") = Aomega^(2)`
`y = A/2` पर
` upsilon = (upsilon_(0))/2(Aomega)/2 `है -
` (Aomega)/2 = omegasqrt(A^(2)-y^(2))`
अथवा `(A/2)^(2) = A^(2) -y^(2)`
` :. Y= (Asqrt(3))/2 ~~ 0.86 A`
