Correct Answer - C
Distance travelled by the particle in `nth` second,
`S_(n th) = u + (1)/(2) a(2n - 1)`
Where `u` is initial speed and `a` is acceleration of the particle.
Here,`n = 3, u = 0, a = (4)/(3) m//s^2`
`:. S_(3 rd) = 0 + (1)/(2) xx (4)/(3) xx (2 xx 3 - 1) = (10)/(3) m`.
