एक पत्थर , जिसका द्रव्यमान 1.3 किग्रा हैं , एक डोरी के एक छोर पर बाँधकर क्षैतिज तल में 1 मीटर त्रिज्या के वृत्त में 40 चक्कर प्रति मिनट की दर से घुमाया जाता हैं - (i) डोरी में तनाव कितना हैं ? (ii) किस अधिकतम गति से पत्थर घुमाया जा सकता हैं , यदि डोरी 200 न्यूटन अधिकतम तनाव सहन कर सकती हैं ?

डोरी में तनाव `T = mromega^(2)`
प्रश्नानुसार , m = 1.3 , r = 1
`omega = 2pif = 2xx3.14xx(40)/(60) = 4.187` रेडियन/सेकण्ड
`therefore T = 1.3 xx 1 xx (4.187)^(2) = 22.8` न्यूटन
(ii) `T_(max) = mromega_(max)^(2)`
`therefore omega_(max)^(2) =(Tmax)/(mr) = (200)/(1.3xx1)`
` therefore omega_(max) = sqrt((200)/(1.3)) = 12.40` रेडियन / सेकण्ड
` therefore f_(max) = (omega_(max))/(2pi) = (12.40)/(2xx3.14) = 1.975` चक्कर /सेकण्ड
