Correct Answer - D
Cryptogams include all the plants that reproduce by means of spores and do not produce seeds, e.g. algae, bryophytes and pteridophytes. The pteridophytes have a well - developed conducting system, therefore they are called as vascular cryptogams. On the other hand bryophytes lack vascular system. Heterospory is observed in pteridophytes.
