अतः प्रतिरोध के किसी परिच्छेद से प्रति सेकण्ड `0.2` कूलॉम आवेश गुजरता है । इसलिये, परिच्छेद से 1 सेकण्ड में गुजरने वाले इलेक्ट्रॉनों की संख्या
` n = q/e = (0.2 "कूलॉम ")/(1.6 xx 10^(-19)"कूलॉम") = 1.25 xx 10^(18)`.
