अधिक विधुत-ऋणात्मक होने के कारण C-X बन्ध में X- परमाणु पर ऋणावेश होता है अतः ये `Nu^(-)` से प्रतिस्थापित हो, `X^(-)` के रूप में निकल जाते है ।
