How glucose is prepared from cane sugar ? Write the formula of the complex copper (II) hexacyano ferrate (II).

When cane sugar is boiled with dilute hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid, it undergoes hydrolysis to give glucose and fructose in equal amounts. While cooling alcohol is added, glucose being almost insoluble in alcohol. Crystallizes out first. Crystals of glucose are separated by filtration.
