Correct Answer - Option 1 : 616 cm2

Given:

The sum of the circumference and radius of circle is 102 cm

Formula used:

The circumference of a circle is 2πr

The area of a circle is πr2

Where r is Radius of the circle

Calculations:

According to question, we have

The sum of the circumference and radius of circle is 102 cm

Circumference + Radius = 102 cm

⇒ (2πr + r) = 102 cm

⇒ r(2π + 1) = 102 cm

⇒ r{2 × (22/7) + 1} = 102 cm

⇒ r{(44/7) + 1} = 102 cm

⇒ r(51/7) = 102 cm

⇒ r = (102 × 7)/51 cm

⇒ r = 14 cm

Now, Area of circle is

⇒ Area = πr2

⇒ Area = (22/7) × 14 × 14

⇒ Area = 616 cm2

The area of the circle is 616 cm2
