डिब्बे में भरे पानी का आयतन ज्ञात कीजिए।

16 कांच के गोले , जिनकी त्रिज्या 2 सेमी हैं , को एक घनाकार बक्से में पैक किए जाता हैं जिसका आंतरिक आयाम 16 सेमी × 8 सेमी × 8 सेमी है और तब बक्से को पानी से भर दिया जाता है। बक्से में भरे पानी का आयतन ज्ञात कीजिए।

\(\therefore\) volume of 1 sphere = \(\frac43\)πr³ = \(\frac43\)π x 2³ = \(\frac{32\pi}3\) cm³

\(\therefore\) volume of 16 spheres = 16 x \(\frac{32}3\)π  cm³ = \(\frac{512\pi}3\) cm³

Dimensions of cuboidal box are 16 cm, 8 cm and 8 cm.

\(\therefore\) volume of cuboid = lbb = 16 x 8 x 8 = 1024 cm³

volume of water in box = volume of box - volume of 16 spheres

 = (1024 - \(\frac{512\pi}3\)) cm³

 = (1024 - 536.16) cm³

 = 487.84 cm³
