(a) Vitamin-A 

Precursor of vitamin-A comes from β-carotene. In human body. β-carotene gets converted into retinol, which is called vitamin-A. Thus, β-carotene is a precursor (inactive form) of vitamin-A and also called provitamin-A carotenoid.
