एक तत्व जिसका घनत्व 11.2g cm-3 है, फलक केन्द्रित घनीय जालक बनाता है जिसका किनारा 4 x 10-8 cm है। तवि के परमाणु द्रव्यमान की गणना कीजिए।

क्रिस्टल के घनत्व के लिए सूत्र

\(l = \frac{nm}{a^3 \times N_A}\)

दिया हुआ है:

n = 4,l = 11.2 g cm-3, a = 4 x 18-8 cm

NA = 6.022 x 1023 

M = \(\frac{l.a^3.N_A}{n}\)

\(\frac{11.2 \times (4 \times 10^{-8})^3 \times 6.022 \times 10^{23}}{4}\)

\(\frac{11.2 \times 64 \times 10^{-24} \times 6.022 \times 10^{23}}{4}\)

= 107.91g mol-1
