Usha came to the ruins to take shelter from the storm. At the same time, Suresh and Binya came looking for Usha, as it grew dark. When the storm broke they too came into the ruins.
When Usha was running out of the ruins on seeing the ghostly creatures, on her way something fell against her. When she stumbled and got up, she again bumped into something and gave a frightened scream. As a reply there was a familiar boys shout which Usha immediately understood it was Suresh.
The three fell into each other’s arms. They were surprised and relieved as they laughed, giggled and repeated each others names. Usha thought that Binya and Suresh were ghosts and they thought that she was a ghost. Usha called them to the shelter of the ruins and they huddled together in the corner chattering excitedly. They gave each other warmth and confidence. They were not afraid now.
