Draw the effective equivalent circuit of the circuit shown in Fig 7.1, at very high frequencies and find the effective impedance.

At high frequencies, capacitor ≈ short circuit (low reactance) and inductor ≈ open circuit (high reactance). Therefore, the equivalent circuit Z ≈ R₁ + R₃ as shown in the Fig.
