Best answer

Weight of organic compound = 0.2 175 g

Weight of BaSO4 = 0.5825 g

233 g of BaSO4 contains = 32 g of S

0.5825 g of BaSO4 contains = \(\frac{32}{233}\) x \(\frac{0.5825}{0.2175}\) g of S

Percentage of S = \(\frac{32}{233}\) x \(\frac{0.5825}{0.2175}\) x 100 = = 36.78%
