The given equation is 3x-Kx+4 =0 .

This is the form of ax^2+bx+c=0 , where a=3 , b= -k and c =4 .

D= (b^2-4ac)

D= k^2 -4×3×4

D= k^2-48

For real roots, we must have

D=0

K^2-48=0

K^2= 48

K = ±√48

K = ±4√3

Hence, 4√3 and -4√3 are the required values of k.
