Best answer

p1 = 1 bar p = ?

V1 = 500 dm3  V2 = 200 dm3

Temperature remains constant.

According to Boyle’s law,

p1V1 = p2V2

Or p2 = \(\frac{p_2V_2}{V_2}\)

p2 = \(\frac{1\ bar\times500\ dm^3}{200\ dm^3}\) = 2.5 bar
