Best answer

Given that,

Length of rectangle = 13.6 meters

Breadth of rectangle = 3.4 meters

We know that,

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

= (13.6 × 3.4)

= 46.24 sq m

Therefore,

Area of the square = 46.25 sq m

Length of each side of the square = \(\sqrt{46.25}\)

Now, by using long division method we get:

\(\sqrt{46.24}\) = 6.8

Therefore,

The length of a side of the square is 6.8 meters
