Best answer

Total number of pens = 1001.

Total number of pencils = 910.

Maximum number of students who get the same number of pens and same number of pencils =

HCF (1001, 910).

Using prime factorization,

910 = 2 × 5 × 7 ×13.

1001 = 7 × 11 × 13.

Hence,

HCF (1001, 910) = 7 × 13 = 91

Hence,

Maximum number of students who get the same number of pens (11) and same number of pencils (10) is 91.
