Best answer
Probability of an event = Number of favourable outcomes/Total number of outcomes

(i) In the given figure, the total number of outcomes `= 5`
Number of times `D` present ` = 1`
Probability of the pointer stopping on `D = 1/5`

(ii) Number of aces in a deck of playing cards `= 4 `
Total number of cards ` = 52`
So, probability of getting an ace,` = 4/52 = 1/13`

(iii) In the given figure, the number of total apples ` = 7`
Number of red apples ` = 4`
So, the probability of getting a red apple ` = 4/7`
