Correct answer is (c) (8n - 2)

Let Sn denotes the sum of first n terms of the AP.

∴ Sn = 4n2 + 2n

\(\Rightarrow\) Sn-1 = 4(n - 1)2 + 2(n - 1)

= 4(n2 - 2n + 1) + 2(n - 1)

∴ nth term of the AP, an = Sn - Sn-1

= (4n2 + 2n) - (4n2 - 6n + 2)

= 8n - 2

Thus, the nth term of thee AP is (8n - 2)
