Best answer

.

Let AB be the wall and AC be the ladder.

We have,

BC = 2m and ∠ACB = 60°

In \(\triangle ABC,\)

\(cos60^\circ=\frac{BC}{AC}\)

\(\Rightarrow \frac{1}{2}=\frac{2}{AC}\)

∴ AC = 4m

Hence, the correct answer is option (d).
