(a) Concective tissue of animals are the tissue which serve the function of binding and joining one tussue to another, forming proctective sheat and packing material around the verious organs , carrting materials to different regions, and formign a suppoting framework of the body etc.
They ar of five type-
(i) Arelar tissue (ii) Dense regular connective tissue (iii) Adipose tissue (iv) Skeletal tissue (v) Vascular tissue.
(b) Adipose tissue is primarily a fat-stroing tissue. Such tissue are found beneath the sink, in the covering of the heart, around the blood vessels and kindeys, and in yellow bone marrow.
(c ) Tendons and ligaments belong to dense regular connective tussue. For difference between tendons and ligaments, refer to Table 2.5 Page 80.
