Best answer

Given equation is 5x - 12y = 60

We can rewrite it as

This equation is in the slope intercept form i.e. in the form

x/a + y/b = 1

Where, x-intercept = 12 and y-intercept = - 5

Two points are: (12, 0) on the x-axis and (0,-5) on y-axis

We know the distance between two points

= 13
