Three identical particles are joined together by a thread as shown in figure. All the three particles are moving on a smooth horizontal plane about point O. If the velocity of the outermost particle is v0 , then the ratio of tensions in the three sections of the string is

Let the angular speed of the thread is \(\omega\).

For particle C

T3 = m\(\omega\)23l

For particle B 

T2 → T3 = m\(\omega\)22l → T2 = m\(\omega\)25l

For particle A

T1 → T2 = m\(\omega\)2l → T1 = m\(\omega\)26l
