Answer is : (c) 4

The haemoglobin molecule has four binding sites for oxygen molecules. Thus, each Hb tetramer can bind four oxygen molecules. Haemoglobin is the oxygen transporting protein of red blood cells and is a globular protein with quaternary structure. Haemoglobin consists of four polypeptide subunits, 2α chains and 2β chains.
