Best answer

Given: λ = 5500 Å , v = 0.8 c

To find: Doppler shift (∆ λ)

= 1833.33

\(\therefore\) Doppler Shift = 5500 – 1833.33 ≈ 3667 Å

The doppler shift in wavelength is 3667 Å.
