– A neurogenic heart requires nervous input to contract. It is seen in crustaceans like king crab.

– Bronchial hearts are myogenic accessory pumps found in coleoid cephalopods like shark that supplement the action of the main, systemic heart.

– Pulmonary heart is found in humans where the portion of the circulatory system carries deoxygenated blood away from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs and returns oxygenated blood to the left atrium and ventricle of the heart.
