Best answer

Answer is : (a) 2 g

Given, current, I = 0.5 A

Time, t = 1 hr = 3600 s

According to Faraday’s IInd law of electrolysis,

W = Atomic mass x I x t/96500 = 108/96500 x 0.5 x 36000 = 2 g
