ii. There began an intellectual exchange among the people belonging to different parts of the world.
iii. The colonized people realized the principles of liberty, equality and fraternity and the philosophies of nationalism, socialism, communism and democracy.
iv. A progressive mind set was formed due to the removal of ignorance and blind faith by social and religious reformers.
v. Thus, imperialism created an intellectual change in the minds of the people.
