Correct answer is: (c) 98 cm2

Shaded area = Area of semicircle + (Area of half square – Area of two quadrants)

= Area of semicircle +(Area of half square – Area of semicircle) = Area of half square

= 1/2 \(\times\) 14 \(\times\) 14 = 98 cm2
