Sodium hydroxide being a strong base than calcium hydroxide furnishes more number of `OH^(-)` as it undergoes complete dissociation. Greater the `OH^(-)` concentration greater will be the basic character. A stronger base will have pH value greater than a weak base. Hence NaOH, which is a strong base has higher pH value than `Ca(OH)_(2)`
