Strong acid The acid that ionises completely in aqueous soltuon thus p[roducing a high concenteration of `H_(3)O^(+)` ions is called a strong acid e.g `HCI,H_(2)SO_(4) HNO_(3)` etc Weak acid Weak acid ionises only partially in aqueous solutioon and thus it produces ions as well as molecules e.g acetic acid carbonic acid
