ABCD in the diagram is a rectangle. Then find out the area of the circle.

ABCD is a rectangle ∠B = ∠D = 90° 

AC in the diameter of the circle AC = \(\sqrt{8^2+6^2}\) = \(\sqrt{64+36}\) = \(\sqrt{100}\) = 10

∴ radius = 5cm

∴ Area of the circle = πr2 = π × 52 = 25πcm2
