`sin 60^(@)=sqrt(3)/(2),tan 45^(@)=1, cos 45^(@)=(1)sqrt(2),sec60^(@)=2`
`:. sin ^(2)60^(@) tan 45^(@) - cos^(2)45^(@)sec60^(@)`
`=(sqrt(3)/(2))^(2)(1)-((1)/(sqrt(2)))^(2)(2)=(3)/(4)-(1)/(2)xx2=(3)/(4)-1=(3-4)/(4)=-(1)/(4)`
