Age of Divya = x – 7

x(x – 7)+2 = 200

x² – 7x + 2 = 200

x² – 7x – 198 = 0 (x – 18) (x + 11) = 0

x = 18, x = – 11

(age will not be a negative number)

Age of Ammu = 18,

Age of Divya =18 – 7 = 11
