Glycerine, water and sunflower oil are taken in two beakers. A glass rod is dipped in one and a pyrex glass rod is dipped in the other. Do they appear in the same way? In which media are they visible? Justify.

Objects are visible because they reflect some of light that shines on them. Refractive index of glycerine, sunflower oil, and pyrex glass are same.

Glass rod clearly visible in them. But pyrex glass is not clearly visible because light ray are passed without deviation through medium having same refractive index.
