Gymnosperms include medium sized trees or tall trees and shrubs. Leaves of theses plants are well adapted to with stand extermes of temperature, humidity and wind. Reproductive organs are usually in the from of cones or strobili.
The mole cone are made up of microsporophyll and female cones are made up of megasporophyll . The presence of sporophyll (imcro and magasporophyll) shows the development of seed habit but seeds develop from maked ovule and ar not covered.
Other examples are incorrect beacause monocots and dicots belong to angiosperms which have well developed convered seeds. Whereas, pteridophytes do not have microporphylls and are not adapted to the above said conditions
