If a body of mass 40 kg is kept at a distance of 0.5 m from a body of mass 60 kg, what is the mutual force of attraction between them?

F = \(\frac{Gm_1m_2}{d^2}\)

m1 = 40 kg,

m2 = 60 kg,

d = 0.5 m

\(\frac{G\times40\times60}{(0.5)^2}\)

\(\frac{G\times 2400}{0.25}\)

\(\frac{6.67\times10^{-11}\times2400}{0.25}\)

= 64032 x 10-11

= 6.4032 x 10-7N
