Correct Answer - C
On the other hand, parasympathetic neural signals (another component of ANS) decrease the rate of heart beat, speed of conduction of action potential and thereby the cardiac output.
Parasympatetic nerves or vagus nerve decrease the heartbeat by secreating acetylcholine.
Heart beat si regulated by cardiac branch of Vagus nerve.
If Vagus or parasympathetic nerve to heart is cut, the heart beat will increase.
