(d) Enteropeptidase or enterokinase is an enzyme involved in human digestion .
Trypsin has an important role in the digestion of proteins in the anterior portion of the small intestine. It also activates other proteases in the pancreatic juice. Therefore ni the absence of enterokinase the process of coversion of dipeptides to amino acids will be affected.
