Consider the following equations for cell reaction:
`A+BhArrC+D` ….(`1`)
and `2A+BhArr2C+2D` …(`2`)
How are `E_(cell)^(@)` for equations (`1`) and (`2`) are related? What is relation between two equilibrium constants?

Best answer
`E_(cell)^(@)` for eq. (`1`) and (`2`) is same as it does not depend upon stoichiometry of chemical equation.
Also `K_(1)=([C][D])/([A][B])`, `K_(2)=([C]^(2)[D]^(2))/([A]^(2)[B]^(2))`
`:. K_(1)=sqrt(K_(2))`
