Perimeter = 1 + \(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}+\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}+1+\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}+\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\)

= 2 + 2\(\sqrt{3}\) m

Area of the rectangle = 1 × \(\sqrt{3}\) = \(\sqrt{3}\) m²
