A. 0.1 mol `dm^(-3) NH_(4)OH` and 0.1 mol `dm^(-3)` HCl
B. 0.05 mol `dm^(-3) NH_(4)OH` and 0.1 mol `dm^(-3)` HCl
C. 0.1 mol `dm^(-3) NH_(4)OH` and 0.05 mol `dm^(-3)` HCl

Correct Answer - C
In (c), all HCl will be neutralized and `NH_(4)Cl` will be formed. Also some `NH_(4)OH` will be left unneutralized. Thus, the final solution will contain `NH_(4)OH and NH_(4)Cl` and hence will form a buffer.
