Assertion :A molecule of Buckminsterfullerene exhibita aromatic character.
Reason :All the carbon atom undergo `sp^(2)` hybridisation. Each carbon atom atomic three sigma bonds with other three carbon atom. The remaining electron at each carbon is delocalised in molecular orbitals.
A. If both assertion and reason are true and the reason is the correct explanation of the assertion.
B. If both assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation of the assertion.

Both statement are true and the Reason is the true explation of Assertion.
Fullerenes: it contain `20` six membered rings and `12` five membered ring .A six mnembered ring is fixed can six or five membered rings but a five membered ring can only fase with six membered ring .All the carbon atom forms three sigma bond with other three carbon is delocallised in molecular orbital , which in true give atomatic character to molecular .This ball shaped molecular has `60` verticle and each one each one is occopied by one carbon atom and it also contain both single by double with C- C distance of `143.5 pm` and `138.3` respectively.
