Correct Answer - D
The word systems is very commonly used in thermodynamics. If we study the reaction between two substances `A` and `B` the reaction mixture of `A` and `B` consittutes the system. All the rest (i.e., beaker is kept) are part of the surrounding. A system and its surrounding are always separated by boundaries which may be real or imaginary.
