(i) 1 मोल द्रव जल के ताप को `10^(@)` से `0^(@)C` करने में निहित
`DeltaH = - C_(p)[H_(2)O(l)] xxDeltaT`
`= 75.3 xx 10 = 753 J = 0.753 kJ`
(ii) `0^(@)C` के 1 मोल जल को `0^(@)C` की बर्फ में परिवर्तित करने में निहित
`DeltaH = - Delta_("fus")H = - 6.03 kJ`
(iii) `0^(@)C` की एक मोल बर्फ को `10^(@)C (283 K)` के जल में परिवर्तित करने में निहित
`DeltaH = C_(p) [H_(2)O(s)] xx DeltaT`
`=36.8 xx (273-283) = - 368 J`
`= - 0.368 kJ`
